Hudson County lead inspection fees: open dataset
Every municipal lead-based paint inspection fee in Hudson County, New Jersey, with the code section it comes from and the office that takes the filing. We read all twelve municipal codes from the primary sources; no one else publishes these figures together, and every number here can be checked against the linked ordinance without taking our word for it.

What is in the files
Sixteen fields per municipality: the fee exactly as the ordinance publishes it, plus parsed minimum and maximum in dollars, the $20 state certificate fee, the code citation, whether the town has its own lead chapter at all, the filing office, and a link to the source code. Where a town publishes no local fee, the field says so rather than guessing a number.
The same two files are mirrored on GitHub, where every correction is visible in the commit history. Fees change when a town amends its ordinance. The dataset carries a verification date, and we re-read the codes quarterly — if you are citing it long after the date above, re-check the linked ordinance.
