Who runs this site, and how we verify what is on it

LeadSafeHudson.com is an independent guide to New Jersey’s lead-safe certification law for Hoboken and Hudson County landlords. Every figure is checked against the primary source (statute, regulation, DCA list, municipal code) before publication, and every page carries the date of its last verification.

The methodology

Primary sources only. Claims trace to P.L. 2021, c.182, N.J.S.A. 52:27D-437.16 et seq., N.J.A.C. 5:28A, the NJ DCA inspection method list, and municipal codes such as Hoboken Chapter 125. Where a secondary source is all we have, the claim carries a [VERIFY] marker and is not published as fact.

Dated verification. The "Last verified" stamp on tables and answer capsules is the date of the most recent full re-check, not the date the page was written. Rows re-check at minimum quarterly and whenever the DCA list updates.
